ResizeTo brings an image under a file size or a pixel size you specify. No account, no sign-up, no file count limit, no paid tier.

Around that sit three more tools built on the same engine: assembling images into a PDF under a size limit, reading and removing the hidden metadata in a photograph, and a set of guides documenting what was measured while building all of it.

Why nothing is uploaded

Browsers have been able to decode and re-encode images for fifteen years. Sending the file to a server to do that work adds nothing: it is slower, it costs hosting, and it forces users to trust a stranger with their documents. So the tool runs entirely in your browser.

What it does not do

• No editing beyond quarter-turns: no cropping, no filters, no colour correction.
• No video, and no text recognition in the PDFs: the pages are pictures.
• No upscaling. An image is fitted inside the dimensions you give and never stretched to them.

Funding

The site is funded by advertising. Ad slots are labelled and influence neither the tool nor the content. Cookies are detailed on the privacy page.
